On January 28, 2009, communities across Connecticut conducted their statewide count of homeless individuals and families. CT Counts 2009 was an effort that brought together non-profits, local and state government agencies, and hundreds of concerned citizens from every region of the state to gather critical data. The data will be used to inform efforts to end homelessness in Connecticut and to help service providers and policy makers to better understand the needs of homeless people.
